2026 Public Election Notice - City Council

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the City will be electing
Three (3) Councilmembers for four-year terms
in the election to be held on November 3, 2026.
 
Persons desiring to qualify as candidates for the above-mentioned offices shall file with the City Clerk a petition, signed by not less than thirty (30) nor more than sixty (60) registered electors of the City of Plainwell not later than four o’clock (4:00) p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2026.
 
Official blank petitions as required by State Law are available and furnished by the City Clerk and may be picked up at Plainwell City Hall in the City Clerk’s Office, 211 N. Main Street, Plainwell, Michigan.
